CLEAR? Weird. I guess if it wasn't raw though, its okay... Its a chicken tender. Im sure u would need to eat more than a bite anyway.

That sounds odd o.o I don't eat meat, so I'm of no help here, but I've never heard of meat being clear. That being said, if you only had a bite, you should be just fine.!

I guess a better description would be translucent, like it is when you get it raw at the store

Sounds like it could be a piece of cooked fat?

Not sure. Definitely had the consistency of raw but here's hoping it wasn't!

You would have known if I was raw because the cooked part would have been white while the raw part would have been pink. You would have noticed it. One bite won't hurt. I went to a place in April and they sent out mine and my uncles raw, I saw it but he didn't and he ate a bite or two and didn't get sick just had a belly ache for a couple hours. You should be fine!

Yeah it was definitely different from the white part but to me it looked more translucent than anything. Hopefully it was nothing!

Was the chicken hot? As long as it wasnt cold or pink. Being from a southern woman, I fry a lot of chicken haha so it's really com mon for the fatty parts to become translucent when it's cooked. I hate looking at it, so I always throw those pieces away!

It could have just been a different part of the chicken meat like a tendon or something.

My Mum once ate a mouthful of chicken in a restaurant and it turned out to be red and undercooked in the middle. She complained and was offered a refund but said she was very worried about food poisoning- but she was fine.

Basically I don't think your food was undercooked but even if it was then it doesn't necessarily mean fp!

Clear?! I would have been freaking out too! I wouldn't worry about ti making you sick since Chicken Tenders are already cooked, before they get cooked, but I would def bring it back to the restaurant and ask them about it.

When you say chicken tender do you mean a friend chicken tender? It is VERY hard to get salmonella poisoning from fried food because unlike grilling, for instance, restaurants generally have timers to ensure "perfect" frying as well as the fact that that grease is BLAZING hot. It's most likely that you bit into some hardened grease (which is also a clear/oily consistency). I hope everything worked out!
