Default Am I doomed? Please help!

Wednesday evening I visited my mother. She has informed me that the elderly lady she was taking care of that day ( she does home care) had been violently ill V* ALOT and D everywhere. My mom of course had to be the one to clean it up. She said she washed her hands a hundred times, and showered when she got home... But I was in moms house, touching her doorknobs and whatnot. Then today she messages me with " do not come down here... I am VERY SICK. Two days now"
Am I doomed to catch it? What are the chances? It might be completely coincidental, but I had D* once already today. I'm freaking out that I am going to get sick too.

I am sorry your mom's sick. But since she was in direct contact with the v and d (cleaning, etc), that is probably when she picked up the illness, not somewhere within her own home, hours later and after many "transfers" and hand washes. You may just be anxious, which can cause d. But I really doubt you will come down with the illness.

Remember to encourage your mom to clean with bleach after she is feeling better, and I hope your mom feels much better soon!
