    Default exposure- yt videos?

they ARE supposed to disgust you a little bit right? like why would people want to watch people v*ing way?
Not all of them do disgust me just the more graphic ones, the milk ones are pretty much fine so are any other food challenge related ones, but graphic ones are not so nice to watch. I don't feel emet/anxious watching though just like urgh uneasy feeling because it's not nice to put yourself through having to watch that I guess! especially when there is no need to (except as part of helping me defeat emet!)

Im struggling with knowing about that. I DO feel that im getting better, just that query about that...

I've watched a lot of videos on youtube and surprisingly, I am less grossed out by it than my non-emet friends are.
Videos aren't triggering to me at all so if I'm with a friend and we're watching TV or something and somebody v*s, I might "flinch" a little, but no anxiety, while my friends always go "UGHHH" and cringe haha. But yes it's completely normal to be disgusted by it, the only thing you want to get rid of is feeling anxious or fearful about it

I haven't reached that part in my recovery yet. I think it is quite normal to feel uneasy. I can tolerate it on tv and movie more than my friends can. I have been quite scared about watching them on youtube because I know they are "real" and in movies and shows they are not.

Man, vomit in videos is a major trigger to me. I remember seeing Justin Bieber on youtube vomiting on stage and I was anxious all night.
You are doing well, it sounds!

Adam, Beiber is what brought me to IES. I can now watch vids and movies with zero effect

Everytime I try to watch videos for exposure, I end up getting sick within 24 hours so I'll never put myself through it again. It was coincidence, but still lol.

People put the videos up for giggles and stuff which doesn't make any sense to me haha.
