Default I seriously need help... My dad dying, now this!?....

First of all, about 2 weeks ago, I was going through a breakup with a very abusive boyfriend. I left town and went to a hotel for a few days in another town about 100 miles away with my mom just to get away. Then I got my hair cut another 200 miles away (I live in between them so it's really a 100 miles to each place). The day after I got my hair cut I left for a dog show another 300 miles away in Nevada. All this time I was very emotional and heartbroken because of the EX. I stayed in Nevada for 3 days, and the day we were going to leave I got a call from my sister that my dad passed away. My daddy was like my best friend and partner in crime. I loved him so much and we were extremely close. So we left right away and drove back to his house where the family was which was about 350 miles. As soon as I got there, I saw people taking things, and because I was the only blood he had, (Brother and sister are adopted sort of, but not legally) I freaked out because he had only been gone about 4 hours. Then the extended family started calling asking for money and fighting over who gets what. Long story short my brother and my brothers step dad came up from down south and stayed. (which just happened to have a sv*) So we all stayed at his house for a few days lookiing for a will or anything that would help. My sister and brother and everyone finally left. So that night I went to a fair just to get my mind off of everything because I wasn't ready to think about it. I saw my DRUNK ex boyfriend there and we got in a fight and he ended up slamming me on the pavement and cracking my elbow and bruising my hip really really bad. THEN (yes theres more) The next day I find out that they're doing extended tests on my dad because it wasn't a "natural death" and they think there was foul play. Then yesterday, I woke up with a awful sore throat and a low fever, about 99.0 I'm usually around 96.9 to 97.5. with body aches and I had white spots on my right tonsil. Then today I woke up, took my temp and it was 97.1 like normal and my throat is all better and no more white thingys. BUT I had a bloody nose this morning.... I seriously feel like I'm dying people. No joke. My wisdom teeth on my right side are coming in and my mom said that can cause a fever, but I'm scared. I've lost so much weight because I haven't been eating and I'm so stressed out. What if I have HIV or something like that!? Ugh. Yes, like most emets I'm a hypochondriac. I'm sorry this was so long, please I need help. Thank you guys

I'm so sorry for all you've been through. that's horrible. As his daughter, if he is unmarried, you are entitled to all of his property. No one else gets a thing. The first thing you need to do is a get a lawyer who specializes in estates. I went through a horrible estate fight with my sister about a year ago, so if you need a shoulder to cry on, please pm me. I have really been there done that with her.

I know you probably don't want to, but consider pressing charges against your ex or at least get a restraining order. You should be able to go out to a public place and enjoy yourself without this creep showing up and beating you up. There are a lot of good men out there who will not break your bones. *hugs* The police can help you out with this creep. Please, please, please contact them and find out what can be done. You are under enough stress without worrying about running into him at the grocery store.

As for your throat, you may have had a touch of thrush. I am not a doctor so I can't say for sure. Although, unpleasant, thrush is usually harmless. If it happens again, gargle with listerine. I occassionally get thrush and listerine clears it right up.

I am so, so sorry for all you are going through. My dad died naturally at home unattended by medical professionals and it was still a bit stressful. I can't imagine how hard this must be. *hugs*

Oh, Woof...I'm so sorry for your loss. Our day-to-day lives are just enough, let alone all this other crap piled on top. Lean on us if you have to, my friend. Heartless that everybody wants to get their hands on things they think they are "entitled" to. I know this isn't much consolation, but regardless of the possessions you get when this is all said and done, your memories that you hold with your dad are the true treasures, and only YOU have those. Stress and fatigue and anxiety can do a real number on the body, and this is more than likely what you are going through. Stay hydrated and try to eat stuff here and there, to keep your strength up. Most importantly, give your soul time to heal. A very real part of your life is missing now, and it will take time to put the pieces back together and feel whole again. If you are of faith, turn to Him. You don't have to go through this alone. Bless you, sweetheart!

    Hi woof
Your post brought tears to my eyes. It's horrible that people can be so selfish and spiteful, especially when during times like these, families should be supporting each other. Surround yourself with those that you can lean on and trust-the others can go to hell!
I'm so so so sorry about your dad
