    Default Please help me out!

It's my third week of college and I'm not feeling great. The food here is so bad. Not bad tasting, but bad for me! I've always eaten really healthy, but all the caffeteria food here is fried and greasy. I try to eat salads but I really am not a big salad eater. I feel like all I'm eating is the crappy cafeteria food and it's making me sluggish and I'm just not feeling like myself. How do I eat healthier?? I can't go off campus because town is like a 40 minute walk from my school so it's pretty hard to get there between classes. Please help. I wanna feel healthy and happy and the cafeteria food isn't doing it for me.

Can your family send you a type of care package, with some of your favorite things? Crackers, peanut butter, granola bars, nuts, etc. Then maybe just have cereal for breakfast, they must have fruit in the café, and how about sandwiches for lunch? Do they have just plain turkey and cheese, etc? Dinner may be a bit harder...you may have to dig a little deeper to find the healthier stuff. Not sure if you can ask to have healthier foods there...I know teens love the fast, easy not healthy stuff. Good luck!
