Default Right in front of me... need reassurance (might be graphic)

I was at my school's computer labs today doing homework, and had to go use the bathroom. When I got there some girl was standing in front of the trashcan next to the door, very red faced. I didn't think anything of it but then from in my stall I herd her v* into the trashcan, so I freaked out and got the hell out of there (of course I had to pass by her and the trashcan on the way out ).

I;m freaking out; its entirely possible that its stomach flu and not just a non contagious cause. My program is intense and people generally will suck it up and go to the labs to work even when they are sick. I know v* particles aerosolize and I'm terrified I breathed them in when I walked past her. She didn't seem to be v* a lot though, I'm wondering if that lessens the chance of illness from the air particles? Like if there's less v* there must be less infected air particles? Also there is a nasty cold going around, I'm wondering if she was v* from that? I know a couple people who claim to v* with a cold because of the mucus.

If it is a virus, I'm fucking terrified I inhaled it, and that everyone else who goes in my bathroom inhaled it, and the entire school is going to get sick because everyone here is a workaholic who would rather come to the labs and infect everyone than get better at home (not to mention people here have terrible hand washing hygiene)

I'm so terrified I've been exposed and am going to get sick

Freaking out really bad, any reassurance would help

I don't know if you're in college or high school, but there is always a chance she is either pregnant or had too much to drink the night before. Also, I'm not sure what kind of lab this is, but dissections are known to make people sick and sometimes chemicals will do it as well. Unless it was an electronics lab, then probably not. But there is a chance, she had a reaction to something in the lab as well. I think you'll be okay.

It probably was. When I was in college one of the biggest partying nights of the week was Wednesday which is a weird day for partying, imo. Also, this is the time of year when college students are partying pretty hardy. Next semester when all the freshman who flunked out the first semester have dropped out, it should be a lot quieter on the party front.

oh you poor sweetie, you're bound to be concerned! Of course I can't guarantee you'll be fine but if the V*ing was finished by the time you went by, your risk goes way down, and if you weren't inhaling close to her as it happened, you're even better off. Factor in your personal hygiene and the possibility that its morning sickness, f/p or hangover and you're even more likely to be fine! Big hugs for you. X
