All of a sudden panic

I'm on my period still (day 5) and I just got cramps and felt the urge to go #2 this morning. Now my heart is beating fast and I'm worried I caught something because I've been slacking on washing my hands I took my tampon out (sorry tmi) because I felt like it was making it worse. Can you still get cramps throughout your period?

I get cramps almost every day of my period, although by day 4 or so, they lessen.

Of course! You can even cramp after your period, and when you are not even on your period It sux, i know. Just take some med for cramps and try to rest. Drink water water water

Yes you can get cramps throughout, before and after your period ! Did taking it out ease it ? Sometimes if it doesn't go in in the right position it can rub on your cervix and cause cramping !
