I was getting tired of all the docs just giving me one med after another for all these different issues that I made an appointment with a naturopath. He was very good and took soooo much time with me. Had me do a ton of bloodwork and is really trying to target my specific issues. Seems that many of my symptoms are all linked together. First thing he noticed is my thyroid is definitely hypothyroid. That in itself leads to depression, constipation, hair loss etc. Also started me on hydrochloride pills with food two weeks ago because, unlike the western docs who think we have too much acid, he says most of us don't have enough. Also helps digest food better instead of it sitting there.
Then he said my b vitamins are low and they also help with anxiety, depression, nerves, etc.
My iron stores are also depleted, and told me to look for iron glycinate, which is easier on your digestive system.
So, he gave me all of his supplements, pharmaceutical grade. One is natural thyroid, which has freeze dried thyroid, thymus and adrenal, and 4 different kinds of seaweed for iodine. Then the b complex vitamins all together. And also some multi type vitamin for immune support.
So I bit the bullet and took the stuff yesterday. Later on I felt nauseous twice during the day...it would go away in about an hour but it scared me. I did research and it seems that the b vitamins cause nausea and "worse."
So I wanted to go so bad to him and get my health back, but whenever I have to take stuff I'm not familiar with, I get nervous, and then when it does cause nausea, I am really fretting.
Anyone familiar with these natural thyroid and seaweed stuff? Is it safe? And I guess I will have to either take the b's with more food, or split the capsules. Why is there always worry for me???? :0 Thanks for you help everyone!!!
