    Default HUGE triumphs!!!

So I've been emet ever since I can remember, my mom has been my security blanket forever and it's always been really hard for me to leave her for any extended period of time. I got invited to go on a trip with 2 of my best friends for a birthday, and of course I told myself "Nope. Not going. What if, what if, what if" But I did it. 4 hours away for 4 days without my mom! I ate out, I had sushi even! I even drank once or twice! And I took care of my drunk friend, even though she didn't get s* I was still nervous but I did it and I had a wonderful time! Don't let this phobia run your life, be fearless. You won't regret it! Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement! *HUGS*

Woo hoo! Way to go! So glad you had a great time! That's awesome.
my mom is my security blanket as well. Last year I took a big step and moved two hours away. But she's always a phone call away.

Since I too feel like the security blanket for my 11yr old with this phobia I can honestly say Im so very proud of the giant step you took! what a HUGE accomplishment! I hope you continue to take on your fear and let yourself be in control and not the phobia! continue to enjoy doing things with your friends.. continue to face the emet head on! you can do this!
