Default Baby Next Door Sick! (I Can Hear It...)

Ugh. Currently listening to the neighbor's toddler v*'ing loudly through my paper-thin walls (I live in an apartment). I know SV's can't travel through walls, but it's making me very nervous nonetheless. Trying to stay calm and be rational but my heart is pounding.

Should probably just go in another room, but I have work to do :\

    Any calming words or advice?

Turn up your tv or radio. Put on some headphones. Knock that sound out of your head. I haven't had that particular problem with v sounds, but I have with arguing neighbors or amorous ones. It does help a lot. I hope the baby is better soon for his or her sake and yours.

Well, it's easier to think of when the noises are just annoying and not scary. <hugs>

This is something that worries me actually. There are three young children living next door to me and I can often hear them through the walls. Just this morning I heard one of them shouting to their dad asking for some toilet roll which was awkward, but kind of funny too. I just worry that if they starting v*ing or something that I will hear that too.

Glad it seems to have calmed down for you now. I can imagine that being scary for you. I was just going to suggest some of the same things that Grace said. Just anything that you can have volume control over would be your best option if it happens in the future.
