So my daughters teacher said yesterday that almost every kid in the class has had this sv that's going around. It started 2 weeks ago, and multiple kids have been absent daily with it. My girl has been home since my husband was away all last week, and I didn't want to risk us getting it. She hasn't been at school this week either as I'm REALLY trying to protect my 6 month old from getting it, and I know if my 5 yr old gets it, the baby and my 3 yr old will get it as well.
I talked to the vp at the school, and she's very understanding, and said it's no problem if I want to keep her home this week as well. So this is the third week of it being in the class. If I send her to school next week (which I WILL be doing), what do you think the odds are of her getting it? I'm sure there will still be many germs lingering as I know it can last on a surface for 2 weeks. Are we just doomed either way? My daughter catches everything.....if it's going around, she'll get it, regardless of what it is.
