Default less afraid than before...a little

I'm new to this forum, however, I'm NOT new to being an emetophobe. I'm 35 yrs old, I've been scared of throwing up since I was about 7. Over the last two years my fear has lessened because, unfortunately, I've gotten the stomach virus about 4 times. That's 4 times in two years! I have four yr old twins who have brought it home several times. So I've experienced it more than I'd like. With each time that I have gotten it, my fear has lessened. Thankfully. While I"m still very scared of throwing up, it has lessened some.

Oh, that, and having phenergan and zofran on hand at all times really helps, too.

That's great to hear. Use this courage to your advantage next time you are anxious or afraid. I don't really know the last time I had the stomach virus because I haven't v* in 12 years, but I hope I can see improvement like yours if it does happen!!!
