Default birth control cause this phobia?

I've been on birth control for about 6 months. No problems. This second week in January I ate a few hot dogs, felt nauseous didn't vomit even though I wanted to to get it over with but the feeling went away. So I was fine, then after I worked out the next day and drank milk felt nauseous didn't vomit. Do days later passed and something triggered, like clicked in my head automatically saying if I eat I WILL throw up. So I started to not even eat or drink AT ALL I was too scared id vomit but I never did vomit. So since then I got better I do eat more than what I use to. I eat snacks and stuff but no full course meals. I did lose abt 20poinds since January. I CRAVE good but I never get hungry. So my doc ran tests and found nothing wrong. She wants me to see the gastrointestinal people and see if something is wrong with my digestive system. I was given zofran (anti emetic) to help me eat so I WON'T throw up but even if I take the pill I WILL still THINK I'll throw up and it's so annoying. If I HAVE to throw up cause I have a stomach bug or something I WILL. I don't really think I have a phobia it's just something in my mind clicked saying if I eat I'll throw up then it makes me not want to eat a lot. If the thoughts aren't there I'd be fine. My parents think it's the birth control pills causing a chemical imbalance in my head. It's a possibility because I never had a eating phobia I LOVE TO EAT lol now when I do eat I always think I'll throw up even though I never do. Should I get off my birth control and see what happens? What do you guys think it is? This phobia popped out of no where and im sick of it !

Honestly, it does not sound like the birth control pill caused the fear. It sounds like maybe your stomach was just off. A few hot dogs is a lot of food and it's not good food either and could certainly cause stomach upset and sometimes milk won't sit well if you are too hot. Sound like you had a couple unpleasant experiences which triggered a bit of a fear in you. It's likely going to require a change in mindset, which may involve some therapy. Good luck and hope you start to feel better.

Probably, but it would probably be best to talk to your doctor about what all you've been experiencing and see what they think and what they suggest.

They don't think it'd my pills but a mental thing. A "eating disorder" but I want to know HOW did this mental thing come along. I HAVE read on birth control , one girl had developed anorexia on it

It is possible. BC and the hormones can cause a lot of anxiety. I went on the ring and it gave me an eating disorder. I gained a little bit of weight (Less than 10lbs). I became terrified I was getting fat. But I was also ravenous all the time. So I was obsessed with not having any food. I started hoarding it everywhere - my desk at work, and even my bedroom. I make okay money. I have several credit cards. I've never, ever been in a situation where I was even a little hungry and couldn't find something to eat. It was complete insanity. I had all kinds of emotional issues from being on BC but that was definitely the craziest.
It took a few months, but once I was off of it and it was out of my system I went back to normal, though.
