A least it is April and the season is over! Well for the most part. The end of March has been really bad with everyone coming down with a form of it.It is going out with a bang!
I hate how anxiety comes at its finest when you are stressed.. I was stressed all day due to something and now I am in bed and my anxiety is horrible

I'm hoping the worst is behind us. I know I attended an anniversary party for a couple at church this past Sunday. The next day, on Facebook, one of her nieces had left a comment on her page that said, "wish we could have been there. Had the stomach flu. Now my husband has it." So, I know that it's still going around, but I'm praying it will ease up a little now that the weather has warmed up here. As far as meds are concerned, I wish I knew. I've never opted to take medication, but I did date a guy once who had generalized anxiety and took a Klonopin whenever he felt a panic attack coming on. Have you talked to your doctor about benzos? I know a lot of people take them on an as-needed basis when their regular anti-anxiety/antidepressant isn't as effective at controlling their panic attacks.

Sadly for me it isn't over. Usually in my family we don't sick past March but right now my youngest has been sick with a "SV" all day yesterday. It was so bad I had to take him to the ER. He has "V" on me a cpl times (once on my flip flops and hands as I held the "V" bag) He is finally asleep and hasn't "V" since 6pm but I am still awake and panicked!! At the Er they were saying this is the tail end of a bad season of "SV" ( I live in the state of Va)

As for the meds I also found that the anti-anxiety pills were only taken as needed. Sadly alot of anti-depressants don't help much with anxiety. I was on several prozac, zoloft. I also did alot of counseling which helped so much. Right now I am not in counseling (money got tight and couldn't afford it) Klonopin helped me in short term but long term anxiety is a long road. I would try to meet with a counselor that specializes with anxiety and phobias. If you see a doctor they can prescribe some anxiety meds to help get through this rough patch. Everyone is different though so it really helps to talk to your doctor. I hope you feel better soon

March has been the worst month here! I've heard loads of people come down with stomach bugs. Hopefully it will die down a little now it's April. Just remember the season is nearly over and summer will be here soon
