completely FREAKING out!!!!

so I woke up (for no reason of course) out of a dead sleep to a text that my best friend sent me that she was dying in pain and v* n now d*. she was also exposed to my bf the day after he was v* while he was at her house playing w his nephew(her son). I immediately started having a panic attack and now my stomach hurts. I am shaking all over. how can she have gotten it this long after exposure? maybe she just touched it a few days after he was there or didn't clean properly? I am scared to death now. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I haven't heard from her since she texted me at 6am n I'm so scared. if she was exposed when I was it took a whole week! OMG!

your bf is not patient zero, ie she could have easily gotten it from her son or a myriad of other places. there is usually not a one week incubation period. was her son sick? is he in school or daycare?

It wasn't from your BF, she got it somewhere else. I agree about her son. It's SO MUCH more likely that she either got it from him or from his school. She's been 1000 different places in the last week and obviously picked something up there. Nice of her to wake you in the middle of the night about this! With friends like that, who needs enemies! Seriously though, it didn't come from your boyfriend. I am 100% sure of it!

well her husband is my bfs twin. we are always together. the baby hasn't been sick. her and her husband both work at a school but have been off on vacation. her bf was sick two weeks ago and we were all around him. no v* just d* for like more than a week. then my bf got sick last week wed. still the baby hadn't been sick and she didn't get sick either until today. she only v* one time and then d* for like an hour. she told me she took a laxative last night cuz she was stopped up and bloated for two days. she's not nauseas anymore but has some pain in her belly. maybe I'm over reacting and it was from the laxative. I'm so scared. this is a nightmare.

No matter what, it has nothing to do with you. She could have picked it up at the grocery store, the playground, a million different places. It's not coming to get you. You're FINE!

oh well that explains it. some people react badly to strong laxatives and enemas. I bet it set her off.

yea maybe, she said she ate a half of a bagel and he belly was rumbling but she hasn't had d* since the one time this morning after she v*. doesn't sound like a virus but I'm still freaking out a little. ugh. I want to kill this fear and feed it to alligators.

It's okay, this phobia makes us all a little crazy. I know most days I am completely fine, and then whenever I hear about someone getting sick it sends me on the fast track to Panic Town!

yes I've been on that track all week. my bf is supposed to take me to the onlcologist this afternoon and I'm still afraid to be w him cuz he was sick last we'd. as for my best friend, she only has the one d* bout after the one time she v* yesterday at 6am. she took a Xanax and slept the rest of the day and. igot after eating a bagel. she still feels crappy though. I really hope he is not still contagious if he did give it to her. I've been avoiding him like the plague. every gas pain I get I panic. I ffinally went to class for the first time yesterday since I found out I have the cancer. seems like I have bricks tied to my legs.

now it's 3 hours and I'm still panicking. I tried to clean to take my mind off of it but I just got really n* and had to take a break. I hope this is just panic. ughhhhhh.

It really is just panic. I swear. You have a drs appt and a few people around you are coming down with it. it is natural to be on heightened alarm!

my dr appr for cancelled and that sent me into an emotional frenzy. I am still extremely n* after 2 zofran. had a normal bowel movement earlier but keep getting weak and hot. I'm so nervous and j ant kick this feeling.
