    Default intro / worried / question(s)

Hi I'm Kendall. I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but thank you all for having me :~)
I have struggled with Emet for 17 years. I can't even begin to tell you how much easier you've made our jobs.

I have Crohn's disease, which causes it's own bout of tummy problems by itself. I'll have to into greater detail about my story later.

Today, I've been having a terrible case of N* - I can't remember eating any junk, in fact I ate normally. Usually I'll take Zofran, which has been a God sent for me.
*fingers crossed* Regardless, it hasn't been working that well. I don't want to get sick, so I guess I just wanted to know if anyone has ever taken Zofran (Ondasteron or s/t for generic) during the SV or chemo or pregnancy. I think what I'm more nervous about is that my Zofran will just stop working all together

    Thanks

I do take zofran but the generic form. I have the 8 mg melt on your tongue ones and also a 4 mg pill form. I do notice that when you are nauseous from anxiety it doesn't necessarily work all the time. But I have yet to have an issue with it working when I was really nauseous. From what I have heard I do not know anyone that zofran has failed for so I hope that helps to ease your mind a little

Welcome! My uncle has Crohn's disease. It's quite a battle and I can't imagine being emetophobic with Crohn's disease. You're a champion!

I don't think you can build a tolerance to Zofran, but I could be wrong. Many people on here have Zofran and have used it when they have felt sick, and some have said that they truly believe they would have thrown up without it. Zofran is often prescribed to women with bad morning sickness and some have said it saved them! Hope that helps ease your mind a bit.
