Default made a small step forward today

So last september my friends and I ate at this sandwich place near us before going to a concert (was stuck in a mosh pit, almost died) and the next morning I woke up with severe stomach cramps, d and n* that persisted for two weeks. I never figured out if it was because of what I ate, but I felt stomach pains an hour after I ate it. I could not put a single thing in my mouth for weeks and I lost a lot of weight. I have never been so sick in my life and I get nervous even thinking of that time in my life. So today we went back to that same place and I ordered the same sandwich after avoiding the place for 8 months (hard to do because it's a huge deal in this town.) So I ate the sandwich and I'm experiencing just some anxiety. My mind won't be totally in the clear until tomorrow morning. In the back of my mind I'm still afraid it'll be like last time, despite knowing that the chances are very slim.

    so small victory today!

great job! it is tough to go back to a place that may have made you sick. I still can't feed my son blueberry bagels since that was the last thing he ate before v in December 2013! every step is a victory on its own

Wow! Good for you. You are right about the chances of getting sick again is extremely low. Keep it up. You can do this
