    Default Daughter weird V* thing

Basically 2 days ago (Tuesday) my daughter V*'d everywhere while eating her dinner, she was at nursery during the day and hadn't eaten a lot throughout the day, pretty standard SV right? no, she was fine within herself happy and playing no D* or whatever she was fine, the next day (Yesterday Wednesday) she was absoloutely fine, ate everything she was given no V* or D* she was happy and playful and went back to nursery fine, anyway today she had D* and V*, so my question is could Tuesday have just been a random one off V* and then she has come down with a SV* today or could they be somehow related? I figured you guys would be the best to ask, thanks in advance

How old is she? With children under age 2 viruses present totally differently than they do in adults. A few days of random v* and d* is completely normal (and frustrating for parents!). Because their bodies are getting used to viruses they are still figuring out what to do. V*ing and d* can last for a week in little ones. It's a drag, but it's best to keep her out of any sort of childcare setting until she's been completely well for 48 straight hours. So sorry she's sick! Hope she's better soon and that the rest of your family avoids it!

She's just under 2, she's 2 a week on tuesday, the thing i'm confused about is the fact she was fine for a day? also because i'm split with her mom the last time i saw my daughter was on the tuesday she V*d, i was there when she was V* it wasn't fun haha, what are the chances i will get it? it's been 48 hours now so does that mean i'm safe from it? It's selfish thinking when my daughter is suffering but i can't help but worry i might get it, Thank you for replying!

Yes, still normal for a young child. SUCH a drag. It's really not very likely that you'll contract it. #1. because MOST of the stuff littles get (before age 2-3) isn't even contagious, and if it is adults don't show symptoms #2. You would most likely already have symptoms if you were going to and #3. You clean up properly, I am sure of that!

So sorry you're having to deal with this. Hoping that the worse is behind you and that all of the v*ing is over and done with!

Yeah i disinfected EVERYTHING in the house that she might have touched because i have a younger brother too who lives with me full time and he is only 3 so i have to be careful, i hope i dont get anything, the thing im hanging onto is the fact im past that magical 48 hour window haha, she hasnt had any symptoms in the last couple hours to my knowledge so hopefully the worst is over for her!
