    Default Reheated Lasagne

I just ate a lasagne from last night which was covered in cling film and put into the fridge over night, i re heated in the microwave for 5 minutes with holes in the cling film, to test if it was hot throughout i put my finger into the middle and it burnt which would mean it is piping hot, so i ate it as normal, during which i noticed a few mouthfuls of the mince meat was just room temperature and when i got to the final layer it was again room temperature, so my question is, will i get food poisoning from that or am i over reacting? because i know some people eat minced beef raw without any side effects whatsoever?

Left over lasagna has already been cooked, so no matter what, you're totally fine. My boys love cold leftover lasagna! I don't even heat it up for them. You're totally fine, no harm done and nothing to fear!

P.S. NO WORRIES but in the future you should use paper towel to cover the lasagna when reheating. Plastic wrap isn't meant to be heated up and can cause toxins to 'melt' into your food. Don't worry about it, you're totally fine, but when you reheat food in the future use something else.

oh thats a relief! i knew you could eat raw minced meat but i wasnt sure if the whole cooking then reheating process would put me at risk similar to chicken? i know its not okay to eat raw chicken but you have to be careful with warming that up dont you? but its safe to eat cold?

When you cook something (even chicken) and then are just reheating it, it's no longer 'raw'. I make chicken and then use the leftovers the next day, straight from the fridge, on salads or chop it up for a sandwich. Once ANY meat has been cooked it's fine to eat cold the next day. Raw food can be dangerous (though beef rarely has issues) and old food can be a problem too, but food that's been cooked through is TOTALLY fine and safe to eat at any temp. the following day if it's been in the fridge.
