Default Norovirus through touching lips or clothing?

Okay, so I was wondering if I could get norovirus from just touching my lips, or do they have to go in my mouth? Also, I bought a piece of clothing at Wal-Mart last night, and I wiped my nose/mouth on the sleeve. Can I get norovirus this way?

You're totally overthinking this. I know, we all do it, but seriously, sv*s aren't all that common in adults. LESS THAN 10% come down with a sv* in a given YEAR. If you touch your mouth with sv* particles on your hands you would have to then lick your lips, so yes, you COULD catch it that way, but I'd have to question where the particles came from. Particles are NOT just dripping off of every surface in a store, clothing, restaurant food, etc. MOST people catch it from direct contact with a sick person. So unless you are hanging out with someone who is actively ill or who's had a bug VERY recently, there's really no reason to fear any of this. No, you can't catch Norovirus from wiping your face on a sleeve. Take a deep breath, you are totally safe.
