    Default Norovirus on fork?

Okay so I know I over think things but .........I start thinking irrational thoughts about norovirus. Is it possible for my mom to touch my fork on the eating part and give me norovirus? She did that today, but took a shower last night and maybe even this morning and she hasn't gone to the store.

Was your mom recently v*ing? No, you can't get Norovirus from a person touching your fork unless that person had just been cleaning up someone's v* and didn't wash their hands. Norovirus is NOT on every surface. Not even close. In fact, when you consider ALL Of the surfaces that you encounter in a day, it's RARE. You're safe.

What syrup said. Unless she has been sick or recently touched someone else's sick, no. People touch surfaces and eat without washing their hands all the time. My boyfriend tends to not wash his hands before eating and his immune system is like steel. He rarely ever gets sick. I have known for over a year and he had one brief cold. That is it. I have touched my dogs, who had been outside, and then ate food without thinking and I was fine. It is not that easy to catch despite the scare tactics. You are just fine.
