Do you have to V in order to feel better? And if you hold it in will the n eventually go away? Or do you have to v?

You don't HAVE to do anything. I've had bugs where I resisted v*, bugs where I've only had d* and bugs what I've v*ed. No matter what the bug goes away. People mistake Norovirus and believe that you 'have to get the bug out'. V*ing is a neurological response, not the body's way of 'cleaning out the virus'. So, to answer your question, NO, you don't need to v* to get well.![]()
No, you do not necessarily need to vomit, but it usually does make people feel better. I see vomiting when sick the same way I see sneezing or coughing during a cold. Do you have to sneeze or cough when sick with a cold? No. But it will not hurt you either.
A lot of people on here say that it is neurological response, but this depends on what is causing the sickness. If is it a stomach virus, yes. If it is a food poisoning, it is the body's way of expelling the toxins. Yes, during a stomach virus you may vomit. And it is okay. You will not die. The world will not end. It usually stops within 24 hours, rarely much longer and then it is over and life goes on.
Yes, the nausea will eventually go away, but in my experience, the nausea is actually worse than the act of vomiting.
So, to the question, no you do not have to vomit, but yes, it can make you feel better.
