So this is just a wondering question .......I'm generally healthy in what I eat and drink. But I'm also emetophobic. So, was wondering the reasons why a person would feel nauseous ..... just to make sure there is a reason ....

I'm not quite sure what you mean, are you taking about a particular scenario? There's hundreds of reasons why someone could be n*
Yeah, a person can definitely get n* from being anxious. And also, if you usually eat very healthily and then eat something greasy/sugary/salty, then you can definitely get n* even more so than a person who eats that way all the time as your body is less accustomed to that type of food.
Same as above...many reasons why someone would get nauseated. It is just a response. Getting too nervous can cause it, eating something too spicy, too greasy, something that does not sit right with you, viruses or bacteria, pain, hormones, medicine, on and on.

There are sooooo many reasons for somebody to get nauseous. Bad food, too much food, anxiety, nerves, being in pain, alcohol, drugs, etc etc etc. Not sure what you're asking exactly?
Agreed with what everyone else is saying. Just because you’re healthy doesn’t mean you can’t become nauseated. I know many people who rarely get sick but puke before a class presentation simply because of nerves. I’m lactose intolerant and I can get nauseated from taking in too much dairy.
I mean, even quite a few emetophobics experience nausea on an almost daily basis due to anxiety. The mind is a powerful thing.
For me it is almost the phobia that causes the nausea. I remind myself that I am healthy and look at non-meets and how comfortable they are on a dailybasis and realize that's how we are made to be. Not anxious and nauseas all the time. Chewing gum really helps that gaggy feeling for me.

No, because the vomiting process can be halted anytime before expulsion occurs. But if you're experiencing true nausea (as opposed to mental nausea experienced by emets), it means your body is getting ready to vomit. Doug
