    Default Christmas Food Prep..

12 days ago my dad came down with a SV and then yesterday he had christmas at his house and obviously between him and my mom they were making all the food.
I tried to not eat anything but I just couldn't stay away. They're both good about washing hands etc but still, I'm extremely nervous. I hate this.
What are the odds of me getting sick? Do you think I'll be okay?

Pretty much 0. My boys both had it 12 days ago too! Weird. Anyway, after a week I stop bleaching and helping them scrub their hands after going #2, so I know they aren't doing a great job. I've never done anything beyond the 7 day 'risk' period, and honestly most doctors will tell you that the risk of catching anything beyond 72 hours is a stretch, especially in adults (kids shed the virus longer). I've never caught anything nor has anyone who's come to our house. 12 days is a LONG time. The chance that he's even still contagious is about 0, so your chance of catching anything from him is NIL.
