    Default witnessed a heart attack

My sister had a heart attack yesterday morning. It was the most terrifying, horrible thing I've ever
seen. Kinda put this emet thing in perspective for me. Thank God they were able to fix the blockage with a stent. After watching her nearly
die then be sick after the stent (probably from all the morphine in the er) being afraid of a little V* seemed silly. I was able to help her and clean up when shewas v*. I am so glad I didn't exit screaming.lol.
love your family and friends and don't let this emet keep you from your life.

Yeah, when things are REAL, our instincts kick in and the phobia doesn't have time to 'take root'. I had a similar situation when my dad was going through radiation and v*ed all down my back in the medical transport van. Yucky, but I changed my shirt and trucked on along.

You all are so sweet, thanks for the kind words. She is doing really good , she got out of icu today. It's amazing what they can do for the heart now. People like us are good in emergency situations. I think because we're distracted or maybe we've panicked so much that we can handle it. Anyway so thankful she's ok.
