Contagious?

So my live in BF came down sick two weeks ago. V* lasted for about half a day and d* lasted for 2 days. I've waited until today (two weeks later) to come in close contact with him. I've read that he can shed the virus for up to 2 weeks after, but I've also read that it is unclear if it contagious or not for those two weeks. My BF is generally very healthy and rarely gets sick. So just from any ones opinions, do you all think I could get sick still? Just a little nervous and need some assurance

If you have been living in the same house but just avoiding him and haven't caught it to this point, I'm sure you're going to be fine. No way to catch it now
