I'm sick :(

I think I got what my husband had last night. I felt it starting last night but I assumed it was just anxiety, but by this evening I had a full blown fever. It's weird though because other than a headache, nothing hurts. No sore throat, stuffy nose, GI issues... It was the same with my husband. He felt better today. I am praying to god that I will feel better tomorrow but I'm really scared.

I haven't had a fever in a long time and it's scary. I feel woozy and weak and hot and cold. I'm drinking lots of water, (pee is clear) and taking advil. With Meds the temp is 99.5 which is well contained.

I shouldn't be scared, right? This is a scary experience. I feel so fucked up.

Try to relax, just rest on the couch or in bed watching something you enjoy to keep your mind off of it. I don't like getting fevers either, I get very panicky. As long as its staying down with meds your fine. Feel better soon!

I SWEAR by theraflu. The kind that comes in packets and you can drink like a tea. That stuff does WONDERS!

Don't be afraid! I get weird fever illnesses once every few years. Just a fever with weakness and sometimes body aches, but without any other symptoms. It almost always subsides within 48 hours. Take it easy and keep drinking that water.
