    Unhappy Therapist In Los Angeles

Hi All! First time posting, long time emetophobe (20+ years). Can anyone recommend a therapist in the Los Angeles Area that they've had success with? I've seen so many therapists...I've lost count, but I haven't had much success. Most therapists I've seen are unfamiliar with this phobia (which makes things more challenging in my opinion). You have to know what you're dealing with and all the rituals, etc. Anyways, I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you so much for your help!

same issue over here. was in LA for four months and i'm returning soon. having trouble finding a therapist who nows anything about this. but on the other hand.... the last time i went to one that claimed to have treated emets she said the only was was to make me v*. so obviously even therapists who claim to know... kind of don't know a damn thing.

    Hello "ILOVELUCY1920", And "CANONGUY"...
I live in the palm springs area, and I have been having trouble finding therapist myself. But I had found a research study way back when in Escondido, and the therapist was named Lori Riddle Walker, Her and her co-worker Dr. Donna Rosko both understand this type of Phobia, but the good thing about it is, Dr. Donna Rosko has been through it her self and she has overcame it! Not making herself V* or anything, but using the right tools to really get through this. I know it is pretty far for you and for me even, but last year I was going out there for the research study, but since its pretty far, Dr. Donna Rosko does Video Chat sessions online if any of you are interested. SHe is a great therapist, and I am barley staring to see her again, because I just had my 2nd child, so I took some time off. She has been helping me through a lot. Here is her website...

She is one of the best! Also Lori Riddle Walker is great at understanding as well. I hope that helps a little.. I know i can be very difficult to go through such a bad time, and I have been seeing so many therapist myself before I found Dr. Donna, It has been a journey.. But Please feel free to get more information. Take care.

Dr. Donna Rosko is lovely. She knows everything about this phobia. And I worked with her on Skype! Anyway, I believe she also works on Skype in the state of California only. Contact her for sure!
