Hello everyone,

I actually do not personally have emetophobia, but have a significant other who suffers through it almost every day. It's been a rough time watching her go through what she goes through, and little by little, I've learned to understand just how different people who have emetophobia think compared to ones that don't. It's gotten to the point lately that her list of "safe" foods are starting to diminish and she's eating much less. (Under 1000 calories a day) She's afraid to seek treatment, even though I'm perfectly fine with compensating financially if it means that she can get better. Things are escalating slowly but surely.

I just want to know if anyone here who has beaten this or has had experience moving in the right direction, what has helped you, and what can I do as a bystander to help someone I care for immensely to overcome this. Any feedback is appreciated.
