    Default Amoxicillian and nausea

So I've taken 7 doses of Amoxicillian and I haven't been nauseous until this last dose.....is it probably not the medicine since I've been taking it for 3 days and haven't had a problem, or is it one of those meds that you get nauseous from after it builds up in your system?

You need to take it with food. It won't make you v* but it will make you feel gross... especially if you've never taken it before. Amoxicillin is my go to for most things. It's like my miracle drug. Never ever been sick from it in more than 30 years

You don't need to take it with food. But if you have a sensitive stomach you can take with food to avoid discomfort. You can also get probiotic pills (over the counter) or eat yoghurt or something similar that has good bacteria in it. The reason you get a tummy ache is because the antibiotics wipes your entire system of bacteria, even the good ones. So you can add them back with probiotics! Just remember to take them a few hours apart so the antibiotics don't wipe out the probiotics too

I took Amoxicillin a bit for my acne, which helped a ton but, it did leave me with digestive problems. I was backed up then randomly got D*! It just gave me stomach aches and made me feel icky. So I had to stop it. Those medicines definitely do that to you. Like that girl said up there it wipes out the good bacteria with the bad. Best Of luck to you!
