2 year molars?

Hello everyone,
my mom and I are kinda freaking out because tomorrow we're supposed to go to my cousin's 2nd birthday party. The only problem is, she v-ed on Thursday and had a fever and yesterday she still had a slight fever. We're scared about being in their house where there could still be germs. They also live 3 hours away so we're staying the night (in a hotel, thank God). My grandma thinks my cousin wasn't feeling good because she is getting her 2 year molars, but I don't know. I, especially, am scared about being in their house, even though the two year old's mom is a nurse and the dad opened all of the windows and some people will be sitting outside for the party.
Also, my cousin likes to hold my hand. Is it okay to let her? Or will there be germs on her hands?
