    Default psychosomatic sick?

Has anyone gotten or felt sick from over thinking? Tonight my mom wanted a prochlorperazine because she felt queasy. It's probably diabetes related... But I worried, what if it's something she ate, we ate the same thing, only I had more. My mom felt better as soon as she ate something... But I obsessed over her feeling queasy, and now I feel sick even though she's been back to normal.

It's definitely a thing and I know most people on this forum do the same thing that I do - and that is, think about it so much that it actually, genuinely makes you feel n*. I would put it down to over thinking, try to take your mind off it some how and I think you'll start feeling better. x

Definitely! You can think yourself sick if you try hard enough. I did it when I was younger. I was completely fine.... sleeping sound and feeling great until I heard my brother v* in his bedroom in the middle of the night. My heart raced and I sat up and panicked. I worried myself sick until I felt so sick, I v'd. I think my situation was extreme, but it can happen. I can't even begin to tell you all of the times I felt n* when my kids had sv's, but it was only nerves. It is an awful feeling.
