This is a question for any of the parents on the forum. What do you do when one of your sisters is clearly treated with favor above the rest? Let me give you the story.


My sister just got a BRAND NEW Laptop computer. Brand new! And no it's not a christmas gift either. Her christmas gift happens to be a very expensive digital camera. Before she went off to college two years ago she got a BRAND NEW Computer to take with her. When I went off to college I got a brand new computer but I had to pay for Half, my sister on the other hand got the SAME computer as me but didn't have to pay a single red cent.


Also my sister gets a car. She's younger then me, and I need a car WAY MORE Badly then she needs one but she gets to have it anyway. My dad says, "Well when I'm going to give her the car a year from now she's going to need it for her job." Well GUESS Who's working now, who DOESN'T have a car, and has to take public transportation HALF WAY ACROSS THE BLOODY CITY TO GET THERE! IN THE SNOW!


I'm like WTF? She's truely the GOLDEN CHILD. Because she's going into Law school just like Daddy did. My little sister on the other hand doesn't get SH*T. Instead of getting a brand new computer like my sister, she has to inherit the old broken down computer that the MIDDLE Child doesn't need any more because she got a laptop. Am I the only one who thinks this whole deal is unfair? Or is there some unseen parenting thing I'm over looking?


I told my dad that he obviously thinks more of her then of me. He said that it's true that she's a WAY EASIER Child then I have ever been. So does that mean she gets to be showered with gifts as I am labled the black sheep because I DON'T go to school?


It's no secret that I have problems. In fact my parents never tried to MAKE it a secret. All my life they have been informing BOTH of my sisters that I have problems...they tell them everything RIGHT DOWN To my diagnosis. I know that my sister (The one who is CLEARLY Favored) was on medication for a little while but now she's off so she's deemed NORMAL again. And even when she was on medication it was kept TOTALLY secret...but I'm on medication and EVERYONE has to know! Everyone in my family has ALWAYS known that I've been on "Pills" they never made any attempt to hide that from anyone!


Does anyone see anything wrong with this picture? Am I crazy? Sorry about this topic but I had to vent to someone!
