    Default OTC anxiety meds?

    Hi there!
In a few months it looks like I might be going to Cuba on kind of a school trip, and I'm really scared. At the moment I just want to know if there are any over the counter anxiety medications and antiemetics I could take with me?

My doctor has prescribed me Diazepam .. Only for me to take when I'm having a panic attack as it it a strong drug. It's a muscle relaxer but can also cause drowsiness.

In some countries you can buy benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, etc) over the counter. Unfortunately, all we have are antihistamines in the U.S. Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) is a good anti-emetic, as is Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Both cause severe drowsiness and sedation for me, but that may be what you're looking for

Ginger root and peppermint are also excellent nausea remedies if you like to go the herbal route.

Dramamine is wonderful. And there is a less drowsy formula so it doesn't completely knock you out.
