UGH! My niece was over my house tonight so my kids and her could exchange Christmas presents. She is going to Florida to be with her father and is leaving Friday.

She is 6 yrs old. Well she started to get a little whiney which is kind of unusual for her and I asked her what was wrong. She said "I dont feel good." She has a stuffy nose but I had to ask "What doesnt feel good" She said "I dont know whats wrong" I asked her what hurts and she pointed to her belly. UGH[img]smileys/smilies_12.gif[/img]. You know I had to interrogate her. I asked her if she felt sick and she said "yes."


Well a few minutes later I said "are you going to get sick" she said "No I dont feel like I am going to throw up." She said there was a girl in her class that has been out sick with v*.[img]smileys/smilies_12.gif[/img]


I am freaking out because Madison had a piece of paper in her mouth and my niece stuck her finger in her mouth to get it out! UGH!


She was over our house for about 3 hours and was fine the whole time. I am hoping she is ok...but what if.......its a sv?


The debatable question is --- Would she be contagious? I guess the sick stomach is a symptom. I talked to her mom a few minutes ago and she said that she was tired and seems to be fine. I guess I have to wait and see.


I have been doing so good with my emet. I keep telling myself that no one like to be sick that way and even if I do get sick I will live and get over it. I am sitting here trying to put things into perspective. The bad thing is I know that a virus is making its way through schools right now. [img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]
