Thread: am I doomed?

    Default am I doomed?

My niece and nephew were visiting for Christmas. On Friday my niece woke up and v*ed. She acted normal right after... Even eating all day. (Corn dogs, chili, chips, Turkey, etc) so we chalked it up to a fluke.

Today (Monday) before leaving, my nephew v*ed twice in a row, then was over it. He even ate yogurt.

After they left my mom ate breakfast. Around 2:30 she started with bad diarrhea and is still going. So it's obvious the kids had a bug and she caught it. She's queasy but she said it's not a v* queasy... It's a d* queasy.

Those kids were handing all over me more than her... So it's inevitable that I'm going to get it too. If my mom only got d*, what's the likelihood I'll get the v* version?

In a "one in a million coincidence"... These same kids gave us a sb the same time last year. Only my mom got it on the 30th, and I got it the 31st.

I'm worried about v*ing... Not just because it's my phobia, but because I caught a bad cold from my other nephew who was visiting while ill, and my throat is on fire. It would be horrible to v* now

My mom still has d*... No v*... But she's not going as often today.

I'm wondering if she caught it because they shared a bathroom. I know she bleached it once a day... But not every time they were in there. I have a private bathroom.

Cause even if the kids weren't hygienic, we are. We washed our hands non stop, made sure we were the first to take food before they touched it, bleached the kitchen down every night.

I went a step further... I used noro killing medical wipes on my private bathroom every night... On my phone... On my remote... Even though the kids weren't allowed to use it... I showered every night, even washed my glasses in the shower... Plus I wiped my dogs down with a warm, very wet cloth every night.

So my fingers are crossed, cause I'm already feeling like poop hit with a brick because I caught my other nephew's cold. I'm coughing, sneezing, have a headache, stuffy nose, plugged ears... I'm already miserable.

I'm also starving myself in hopes that if I do have the sb*, I won't be as ill.

I definitely don't think you're doomed. Chances are you'll be fine. I used to starve myself but it's really not the answer. Try to eat small, healthy things or at least drink some thin soup.
