Hi there

I'm pretty sure that people are only infectious at the beginning of the virus [even before they actually V*]... So if she was feeling all better and eating food I don't think she will still be infectious, so I think you'll definitely be alright. Why don't you have a mug of hot water and free lemon, It is a natural way of cleaning your system and packed sull of vitamin c. Then go out and have fun!

Chances are she wasn't contagious anymore. I think that you should still go out and get your mind off of it.

A lot of people think that these illnesses are like catching a cold or
respiratory type things. This is really more of an issue of spreading
germs from feces. While not many people knowingly spread germs from
their poop, it happens. And it's those germs you want to avoid.

You might be scratching your head thinking how does that happen? Well
there's many opportunities to spread germs from feces between the time
one poops and the time they wash their hands. For instance, after
pooping I have to pull up my pants and fasten my belt etc, open
the door to the potty room (my master bath has a separate room for the
toilet) and go to the sink, touch the soap dispenser and the faucet. So
germs spread to objects and then on to other people apparently. There's no way
for you to tell what made the other student ill... specifically. So
it's futile to try to establish how long they can potentially spread
germs. Suffice it to say that will these common bugs, germs are present
in an ill person's poop before symptoms begin and after they end.

I wouldn't want to "french" the other student but I'd be more concerned
with them sitting on my lap than the kiss itself. But that's just me.
Just put your clothes in the laundry when you get home, wash up and get
along with your day.

And a little word about vitamin C.

I take it so I'll get that out on the table.

Should help the immune system with things like viruses but can actually
do more harm than good if used in excess when dealing with bacterial
infections. It's also not so good for your teeth and the lining of your
stomach if you take the chewable kind. That's what my doctor told me
and said (and I quote) "How can someone who fears v* so much take that
s***!"

******Kind of Gross******

This is funny, because I don't wanna get poop germs on my clothes. Don't get me wrong, I don't touch the poop (gross), but I feel that germs are there on my hands anyways. My nails are real long, and there are times when my nail would pop through the TP (ok I'll stop being gross now). Anyways, my toilet area is separate from the sink area also, so I always leave my pants around my ankles, pathetically open the door, walk to the sink, turn the water on w/my elbow, and wash my hands. Then I will pull my pants up. Skirts are much easier in this process, they just fall back down, no hands needed. So, that's what I do, and clothes stay poop-free. Yes, you're right in that the SV* germs are spread via feces. In a different thread, JAPA said that wasn't the issue, but it is the issue because if people use the bathroom and don't wash their hands correctly, then touch or prepare food, that will definitely get people sick, scary as it is.

My guess would be probably within 72 hours, if it were to happen at all. You'll probably be fine.

I think you should be OK... She seemed to be over her sickness. But yeah..I would be like you and worrying. But seriously if she wasnt showing any symptoms anymore.. you should be able to get away with it!

So go out and have a great day!
