The last time my dh v* was at 4 am yeesterday morning, so about
32 hours. I'm still in this dead panic that the kids and I will get it. So
    my little timeline goes....

7 pm on Saturday night he shared food and a fork with our oldest
    daughter.
10 pm Saturday night he put her to bed
1 am Sunday morning he started having d*
3 am Sunday morning he started v*
4 am Sunday morning was the last time he v*

He's still feeling run down but much better today. He didn't leave our
bedroom/bathroom at all yesterday, and I've allowed him out now
with pretty specific guidelines -- not allowed in the kitchen, must
wash his hands and use Germ-X before touching the kids, not
touching their hands or face, etc.

We're disinfecting the house as we speak. My MIL (God Bless her!) is
disinfecting the bad bathroom, and doing a wonderful job. I'm
working in the kitchen. The other bathroom and the living room have
    been done.

If you were me, how long would it be before you felt a bit "safer"? I
know it will be at least tomorrow before I can begin to relax, even a
little. I live by the 48 hours of panic guideline, so that puts me
at.....I don't even know? From the last time he v*? From our last
    exposure? Help a gal out!

For me it just depends on my state of mind at the time of illness. If I am really high strung I sanatize the hell out of the place constantly for a week and don't sleep. When I am dealing well with emet, I worry a couple days, but let life go back to normal asap. All I can say is that it is not helpful for you to worry. You are only going to make yourself sick. Just try to relax and enjoy this time of year. I know it's hard. Wash your hands, clean the house, but don't let yourself "worry".

I know that Sv things travels through the house fast. My son's friends family had it this way: twins got it Thursday, dad got it Saturday, mom got it Monday and other brother got it Tuesday. I think by tomorrow you are free and clear. By tonight you should be, but for safety sake, say tomorrow. I think you can rest a bit better especially knowing that your MIL is cleaning the worst part up. Also, he only V*'d for an hour, so even though it was rough for an hour, it sounds likeyou could eek through that with just D* if you got it.

I am thinking about you and I know you will worry, but try and calm down so that your immune system isn't wacked out over this.
TRY to live each day like it were your last
