Good evening. I was wondering for those of you who have had a s/v how did your stomach feel at the time of the virus? Did it hurt? Were you sick to it? Were you just nauseous? Or did something else trigger the nausea, perhaps dizziness, light headedness, etc? I recall many people complaining about their stomach hurting soo bad but I get a little confused on what they consider hurt. Honestly I classify hurt, as in a pain, and sick in the stomach totally two different things. I have been sick to the stomach many many times but I can honestly say my stomach never hurt. Does everyone else know the difference? Or when people say their stomachs hurt do they mean they are sick to it? I was just wondering because I never had a stomach ache before and I was curious to know if anyone classifies them as two different things as I do? I can remember of the last 3 s/v's that I have had in the last 10 years (Thankfully I didn't v* from one of them) I can recall the one 10 years ago this Valentines Day (freaking out) that I was sooo sick to the stomach. Then the one I had about almost 2 years ago my stomach didn't even bother me I was just extremely and I mean extremely nauseous (miracle I didn't v*) I was just real real lightheaded and had d* the day following and was extremely weak. Then the one I had last year I just had d* and wasn't nauseous at all. Is this because there are different strands of s/v's and the symptoms vary? So my question is, What were your symptoms when you had a s/v? What triggered the nausea?

Whenever I would get a sv, my stomach would feel as if a sharp knife was stabbing me in the gut...literally doubled over in pain holding my stomach. Awful pain, and then the nausea would come before v* So in my case, I've always had sharp pain. I would suppose other people differ.

Last time i had a sv (well i think it was a sv) in jan 2005 , i felt i had nausia at c.9.30/10pm, then i went to bed and slept till 12.48pm, when i woke up and instantly v*. i then felt better (why do i fear this?) but stayed up in fear of doing it again, also i felt weird every time i layed down. 5/10 mins later i felt sick again, but i endured it until 1.34am. shortly befor i was s* again, i went really hot, then really cold and shuddered so hard i thought my arms would fall off. then i v*d. this happened once moreat 3.04, then i wasn't s* again till 6.30am. i was s* last at 12am, but i felt nausious for a further 2 days. the weird thing was, when i was s*, it felt like it was coming from right down under my tummy button, kinda like belly dancing, a big ripple. i have strong stomach muscles from dancing, but isn't it your diaphragm that makes you v*? i also had no d*. sorry for the graphicness of this post, but you did want details

jen

last time I had a sv* I remember having some nausea and some cramping. I specifically remember grabbing at my gut because it was hurting. After I v* for the first time, I no longer had pain. I would just be sitting down watching tv and suddenly get a little twinge in mymouth which signalled me to rush to the bathroom to v*. Kinda weird.
