Default Terrified and Not sure what to do

I am suffering horribly with emetaphobia right now. And my 7 year old is becoming like me which scares me more. Saturday I ended up with a SV. First in years. Thankfulmy only one time but I also had d
Ever since I have been waiting for my husband to get it because he came into the bathroom and helped me out afterwards. Lets face it most guys are not as good at hygiene as us girls (I said most not all) so thats why I have been waiting for him..Sunday he went to the bathroom 1 time. Loose he said. Anyway, fast forward to Sunday evening at 7 and my 7 year old daughter comes fosn with it. And you know how bad kids get it. My husbans took care of hsr the whole time. I was nearby her and now I am fearing wgat if this was a different virus than mine. She wont take fluids or eat because she is terrified she will again. She sees Mom being scared doing that and now she is. I have tried to explain that its gone ans she will be fine. But as I say this my fear is escalating. I woke up with a cramp in the back of my leg. Im not drinking or eating enough because of my fears. Please please lift us up in Prayer. I dont know how to get things better before either of us ends up in the hospital from dehydration. I dont want that. Espcially for her. Im terrified

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry this is happening...
When you did v*, did you feel your emetophobia loosen a little? Maybe even in the slightest bit? As in did you feel that thought of "ok it isn't as bad" because I know most of us meets are like that. If you did...maybe you could try and explain it to your daughter that it's ok to feel this way and that it's never as bad as you expect it to be. Also have you tried getting her to drink things other than water? That may help kids want to drink more if it's drinks such as apple juice or maybe even a little bit of gatorade. I'm not sure if this helped but I really hope things will work out for you guys <3 sending lots and lots of love...from a guy who cares ALOT about hygiene haha stay safe!

No, I still had a ton of emet feelings. Even though at the time I will say it was only slightly on my mind I guess. I am trying to explain it yo her but all she knows is she is terrified. She has what is called Cyclic V Syndrome and it had been awhile since she had had an episode. So this terrorized her. I keep trying to let her know now that she cannot catch it again. She does not want the dog around her because it was sleeping in my bed and shes afraid germs are on her. I keep telling her just make sure you keep your hands washed after playing and going to the bathroom and this helps when we take our showers. As for Gatorade, she hated it. Shes been sticking to sips of water and Sprite. As for eating I cannot get her to. Thanks for the love, right back at you. I am a hhgiene aholic if there is such a thing lol

That experience was heartbreaking to read. How are you all doing now?
