Sorry if this puts anyone on a downer, I just need a rant..
It's not graphic, but I don't use v* or n* or anything

I was in Ict, today.
Inwhich I sit two seats away from the door, those two seats my friends sit in.
And then there's an empty seat, and then a load of people who I hate from my school sit there.
They're like the complete opposite of me, and we don't get on, but they didn't know about my emet till today.

I was sat there perfectly happily, and this one of the girls I don't like, Alice
She started to say things like "My god, my tummy just flipped" and "Urg, I just wanna be sick!"

I tried to just carry on typing. We only had 10 minutes of the lesson left
And I told myself that she was just being melodramatic anyway
And probably just had a headache or something
Maybe she thought too hard

But when I glanced over, too see if she was paler than usual
She held her hand like, infront of her mouth
And said "Oh god.."

And.. I jumped up
And ran out the door, shouting
"OhMyF*ckingGodDon'tBeSickPleasePleasePlease!! !"

And I went into the room next door, which had a class in
Including the guy I'm currently obsessing over *points to guy with me on display pic*
And sat on the floor, infront of the door
Crying, and shaking, with my hands over my ears
Refusing to move untill the bell went
When I had to go in and get my bag

I went in, and Alice was gone, but Robyn and Lauren and all her other friends who sit there
They were all bloody laughing!

I hate them

They spent the whole day walking past me and going
"Oh no, I'm gonna be sick!"
And puffing their cheeks up and making like a poorly face if you know what I mean
And they're going to be doing it all tomorrow too

And, and .. urh, sorry it was so long

Thats so awful, I can totally see why you freaked out, I would have been exactly the same. Altho its been a long time since I was at school, I work and have to deal with episodes there!!

We just have to try to accept that not everyone feels the same as we do and we have to accept that we are all special individuals with many fantastic things to offer. Just becos we have this (stupid) phobia doesnt mean were not special.

What you have to remember is that anyone who makes fun of it probably has phobias themselves, just think, some peoplehave phobias about buttons, baloons, cotton wool!!!!

Hope youre feeling more positive.

just be glad that you're an emetophobic, which is much more comming than, say, the fear of penut butter sticking to the roof of your mouth. just imagine how much those people get teased!

i am sorry, though, that they didn't support you i really hate it when that happens!

feel better! they'll forget about it soon enough!

I have done something similar while teaching. I had a kid who complained of an upset stomach and then started coughing (thepolite way that Imake kids, with their hands over their mouth)- I paniced and told him to get a trashcan. He just coughed and he was fine, but I was scared to death! No one laughed and neither did the kid, but he sure gave me a funny look. The kid just had to cough because he had a cold and was apparently hungry because he ate lunch later and was fine (stomach wise).

You were just reacting and your friends were being insensitive. I would either attempt to explain to them that V* is one of your fears and ask them about some of their fears, pointing out how fears are often irrational.
I\'m always a shade of purple...
