I went to the doctor's today for my post-op appoitment. I have been having pain in my back when I take deep breaths, and when I told my doctor this he sent me straight to the hospital of a chest x-ray. He is scared that I may have a tear in my diaphram, or fluid in my lungs and I may have pneumonia. I can't take this s*** anymore!!! I should know more later on today when I get the results back. Hopefully it's just discomfort from my surgery!

I'll say a prayer for you Michele. I hope it's just the recovery that is causing the pain, not anything else. Please let us know.

    Michele -

Is it possible that the pains are gas pains from the surgery? When you get opened up, it allows air into your body cavity and the pain from the air/gas in your body can be really painful.

Let us know when your results are in!

No the pains are not from gas, its been over 2 weeks since my surgery and I have gotten all that air out. Besides, those gas pains are in my abdomin, and my pain when I take a deep breath is in my middle back about where my diaphram and lungs are. Thanks though. Still no word from the doctor....

I'm so sorry! I hope it is just healing that is causing it! You're in my prayers and thoughts!

This is true, they would have got through to you ASAP if they were seriously concerned!
