Ok, I think I read on here one time that popcorn makes for a good laxative. Well, my son has eaten two of the smaller bags today, and he has pooped alot more than normal. Its not like diarrhea, but its not like formed pieces either, KWIM. Not trying to gross anyone out, Im sorry. He swears that he doesnt feel bad. I am jsut freaking out about it. Im worried that this is the beginning of something, and I am here all alone. Just ducky!

My in-laws invited us down for supper and I want to go, I think mainly so I wont be alone, BUT my pa in law was sick on Thurs. Only for a few hours though, and is fine and no one else has been sick.

I hate this, I dont know what to do.

Popcorn is high in fiber and the body can't completely process it. It is often called "ruffage" --- yes, it makes you go poop a lot more. My doc made me go on a diet with nuts and popcorn and tons of green veggies one time because my stomach was so out of whack in college that I was bleeding in that area.

I wouldn't worry at all, as purpleteacher said its high in fibre so he'll poop a lot but thats about it!

as for you father in law.. I'm pretty sure that was nothing infectious, probably something that he'd eaten previously.. He would have been sick for longer if it were anything.. I'd say your all in the clear!

I'm so glad everything turned out ok-I'm sure your father in law was in the clear!! Crab legs sound really good, I live in Kansas City--I won't eat sea food here, yes, for emet reasons, hahaha, but the next time I'm near the ocean, crab legs are on my agenda!!!
