    Hi Everyone,

I have just told my son, who is 13 years old, what my Phobia is. He was so supportive and said that he would help me with it. I was so releaved in telling someone.

He did not laugh at me or mock me. We were just talking about phobias, as he hates Thunder. I then told him about mine. I am so glad i have told him, as he now knows what scares his silly mum!!!

I just wanted to share this with all my friends on this site.

    Lots of Love

    Fifi

aww, that's great that he's supportive! 13 is a fickle age and you're very lucky to have a son that understands and is willing to help! most 13 year old boys probably wouldn't care because they live in their own world!

    Hi blondie90,

my son does suffer from ADHD, so for him to be sensitive is a miracle anyway!!!!

But i am still very touched by his words, as you say, at 13 you dont get much sense from them!!!

I think it is great that your son is so understanding and supportive to you.My 6 year old daughter has worked out for herself that I have a fear of v*. I was worried she was getting it too, but when my son was ill today she just proved that she is definately not. She was really sweet and kept telling me not to worry as her brother would be fine. I managed a brave face but I really wish I was as brave as my daughter.

That's great that he's supportive. My family just laughs at me and thinks it's a big joke. My sister even pretends like she's going to V* just to get me to leave the room. It totally sucks. Good for you though.

fifi: Your son sounds really sweet. It's great to have supportive family members.

curly wurly; OMG, your 6 year old daughter did that? I would have burst
into tears, and that's saying something for me because I'm not all that
sentimental and I'm definetly not maternal!

    You guys are so lucky.
