Morning all,
Just sending an email from my sick bed - bad head cold, plus the good
money is on laryngitis aswell - can barely talk at the moment.
Have to be better within a few days as my new baby boy is being
christened next weekend.
Anyway, enough about me. I came across an article in the UK times
(online) that talks about a campaigns and strategies that may be used
to combat Bird Flu, but which are also effective at combating spread of
other infectious diseases. the URL is:-
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...055020,00.html
What I was interested in was the reference to 'The Germ Stopper'
poster. I have never come across this before, has anyone ever
seen it and if so is it usually used in schools, workplaces etc.
Just interested really, seems to promote a good message.
Anyway, back to get some rest I think.
Iain

) but i think it is the optimum time of year that schools should educate kids in the spread of these viruses and what they can do to try and prevent them spreading. Surely this could be taught in the class room in Biology lessons or Health Ed.I know it probably deviates off the curriculum but i really do think some time should be devoted to it, especially this year as the whole country seems to have been gripped with sv's!
