In my last class today I saw a guy asleep out in the hallway. That's
nothing unusual for a college campus. I sometimes nap on benches before
my classes if I'm tired, but when we got into class he kept sleeping at
his desk. It wasn't until my teacher told him for the second time to
wake up that it occured to me there might be somethig wrong with him
other than just being tired. I few seconds later he got up and went to
the bathroom (didn't run though so that's a good sign).

My first thought was "Oh God, I hope he's hungover!". Mine's a big time
party school so that's not a rediculous assumption at all. On the way
out I thought I over heard him saying to his friend that he was out
late last night. I hope that's the case because I felt so relieved.
What do you think? Am I horrible for wishing someone was hungover?

no you aren't wrong. I feel evil sometimes for these thoughts. But pretty much a lot of people think the same thing, so your not alone. it makes me feel better. He prolly was hung over.

I fall asleep in classes all the time... and I'm usually fine whenever I do... maybe he didn't go to the bathroom, maybe he went to get water or something? that can help wake a person up. or, I don't know why this is, but sometimes when I wake up I need to use the restroom? he may just have needed to go. or he was going as a way to get out of theclassroom, a change of setting sometimes helps to wake a person up? If he wasn't in a hurry to get out of the class, I would assume he's fine

If he did ago to the bathroom to v- (which you don't even know at this point and it isn't completely fair to assume either), he was probably hungover. A lot of college students stay out late and think they can go to class and then can't actually handle it in the morning. I highly doubt that he was sick with anything contagous. If he had a sv-, think about it. He's a college student and if he's up late at night he's probably not just studying. If he didn't feel well, he wouldn't have come to class in the first place.

    confusedgirl:</span> Nah it wasn't
just that he was tired, something up with this guy it was obvious by
looking at him. I wasn't the only one who thought he was hungover
because after the second time our instructor told him to wake up pretty
much everyone glanced at each other knowningly and hid grins. As a
matter of fact I'm sure I was the only one who thought it might not be
hungover (ie: have a sv instead).

Thanks for your reassureance. I just really don't want to deal with another sv outbreak right now.
