I just had to share this with y'all.
Last night I had some wicked terrible menstrual cramps, so it affected my dreams, apparently. I had a dream that a friend of mine from work was so violently ill, and I was in the same house as him, and I kept trying to avoid him, butI kept instead running into him. ARGH! It was making me actually nervous and nauseous in my dream.
So I woke up this morning and shuddered through a shower, and got to work. Turns out, one of my friends in another department was home sick all day yesterday and there was no way I could have known this (our computer systems were down all afternoon yesterday so I wasn't able to contact him anyway). Turns out he was just as sick as he was in my dream, v* and d* and aches and all. WOW! I feel psychic, ha ha.
I just thought that was super weird.
In other news, I was reminded that today is the anniversary of the Columbine school shooting. I remember that. I specifically remember that day because that was the last time I got a sv so bad I v*. Which means it's been 7 years of (according to Jerry Seinfeld) a v*-free streak! Well, from sv anyway. (I just saw the episode again the other night about his v*-free streak, wonder if he's an emetophobe?).
Take small account of might, wealth and fame, for they soon pass and are forgotten. Instead, nurture love within you and and strive to be a friend to all. Truly, compassion is a balm for many wounds.
