    Hey guys,

I've been dx'd (tentatively) with IBS-C, with the occasional swing to the D
side - tho I believe that it's either hormonal in nature or my body self-
    correcting the primary C issues.

I found a WONDERFUL website and online support group much like this
board. Website is located at: www.helpforibs.com.

This site also posts latest research on IBS, sells products/books for IBS,
etc. This company was developed by a woman who actually suffered from
IBS for years, so she knows the intricacies of it - not some Dr. with no
experience relying only on facts and data. She's not a formal doctor, but
her research and work has been recognized by the medical community as
    valid and has garnered awards.

I'd suggest checking it out if you're looking to get a handle on IBS in a
"wholistic" way - rather than just popping the pills that Dr's usually throw
our way. Website talks about hypnotherapy, control through special diet,
    supplements, Yoga, etc.

    Enjoy!

    ~ e.

I didn't have time to look at the website, but after studying digestive enzymes, I recently learned that they help with symptoms of IBS. That's another thing to look into. (if the web site doesn't suggest that).
