We thought my bro (who lives with me) had food poisoning a few days ago cuz he was really sick, and he got better really fast. Only now his gf has it.

I just want to die. Oh god oh god oh god.

Can anyone chat with me? The chatroom won't work. My MSN is [email protected]

    I can't think I can't think.

    Am I awake?
    What time is it?
When I get through this day
    Can someone tell me how
    How much longer now
    Am I awake?

Ok, try to relax a bit. If it is a sv, his girlfriend got it because she probably kissed him. Do your best to wash your hands and keep your distance from him.Is it possible that whatever food made him sick his gf ate it as well, like leftovers?

    Calm down--deep breaths.

Make sure you practice good hygiene. Go home and sanitize (or did you already take care of that).

As long as you have been careful around him (not sharing cups etc) you should be fine. TRY NOT TO PANIC IT JUST MAKES IT THAT MUCH HARDER!!!

I will keep you in my thoughts!

    Kate-

I know that it is so hard to calm yourself down when the emet hits like that. My brother was also sick last week...One thing that helps me is to think of the shear number of times that I have been around people that were sick and never got it. The sv* is fairly uncommon when you think about it...most people that aren't emet get it maybe once every 5 years or so. Try to get your mind on something else, I know that its difficult as I was just there a few days ago. Maybe get out of your house, go for a walk, go to a friend's house, whatever will help get your mind off of it.

Hey, try really hard to relax. Just because girlfriend is now sick does not mean that 1-she got it from hime and 2- you are doomed to get it.
