I started taking Digestive advantage like 2 days ago, and Ive noticed Ive had some erm more activity down yonder and I wonder if it is from that (more rumbling/gas/going) and well just a few minutes ago I was on the verge of falling asleep and felt sick, and got immidately afraid I was going to get sick and that the DA IBS caused it (i took it like an hour or 2 ago). It probably didn't but argh, maybe its cause things have been a bit more haywire in the intestinal region. Is that normal for starting DA IBS, that it gets more whacked out some before it gets better?

I don't know what digestive advantage is, but when I take anything that is supposed to help my digestive system I get the same gassy/bubbly problems. It is just probably your digestive system working harder to better break down the foods and stuff.

I am not sure about the nausea, but I know when I take probiotics and do different digestive system cleanses and what not, I do get nausea. I think it's because of the die off of the bad bacteria. Any time you detox your body in any way you will have some adverse feelings, I suppose. I have never had so much nausea that I even came close to doing the deed, though! : )

I don't know if that helps since I don't know what the stuff is, but thought it was worth a try.

Galadriel....i do not remember ever having any nausea from the DA/IBS......now i am not saying that is the case for you....but i highly doubt it's from that....it's probably just like Shiva said....it's working on your digestive system and maybe that's what's causing it....i really don't know but I have never ever had any nausea from it...now i go through bouts of nausea alot, but i think it's from the actual ibs itself...not the meds. i take for it. Don't give up now......it takes about a week or 2 for full benefit. I take mine faithfully every morning. For me it's a lifesaver...i hope you will continue with it and give it time to get into your system...good luck. Let me know what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Galadriel -

So sorry your feeling poorly. I didn't have any n* at all when I started taking the DA. Maybe a little rumbling in the tummy, but no n*. Have things settled down at all?

Also i just wanted to tel you that this am when i took mine...i took it about 8:15 this am and then came on into work...and after getting here...i noticed that my stomach was rumbling too...well sure enough a few mins. later i did have to go tothe bathroom, but it was so normal and wonderful not to have D. I think the med just binds things up and makes you normal.....

    Hi Kate -

My typical problem before I started with the DA was consitpation. It was great the first month with making me more regular - but now (the last couple of days) I'm feeling like it's a problem again. I haven't missed any doses, just feel like it's not doing the trick as much as it did. The directions say some people may need two tablets daily, but I hesitate to do that. What do you think?

    Thanks!

I am on day 4 with the DA, and I have to say I did have nausea on the first night, but it could have been stress and PMS related as well. I have been having a little gas, too,but nothing bad.Hope you feel better!

Marby....ok listen.....sometimes i do have to take it every other day instead of every day b/c i do tend to get consitpated from it "sometimes" not all the time though....so try that and see if that helps....you just have to adjust it to how your body reacts and everyone is diff.

Harmony, i really think your nausea is from the pms....i get that too....alot!!!!!!!!!! But like i said before, it could be anything....i don't think it's the med though...but I am not a doc....so i can't say for sure....just stay with it and i think you are going to be pleased...if you aren't then i am sorry for suggesting it....but i just wanted those with ibs to try it b/c it works sooooooooooooo well for me, and i know how bad people suffer with nasty ibs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, both of you keep me posted with how you are doing with it......good luck...K

thanks for the replies! I came on here for awhile and was fine and went back to sleep. Sometimes I get that anyways, its probably not a result of D.A. I'm definately sticking with it for awhile and see what happens.

I am sticking with it, too, at least for a month to see what happens. It's nice to know other people are going through the same stuff!
